Come join us for Sumter's largest street party and celebrate the revitalization of our downtown. The proceeds benefit Sumter United Ministries, a program that has organically grown to assist the community with crisis relief, home repair, a homeless shelter, education assistance, and medical services. This is their largest annual fundraiser, and we feel passionate about supporting this great cause!

The event will be hosted on October 11, 2025, on Main Street. Tickets are $10 in advance and $20 at the door (no refunds). Kids 10 and under are free. Tickets can be purchased through our website via Eventbrite. The event starts at 5 PM with German music on Main Street from Dirndl Dames until 8:30 PM. DJ Howie D’s Entertainment DJs will continue the party in La Piazza. Please note that La Piazza will be 21+ starting at 8:30 PM.

Oktoberfest Traditions

We want to bring the unique traditions and customs of Oktoberfest to organize the largest fundraiser for United Ministries. This is the perfect opportunity to wear your favorite lederhosen and dirndl.

Join us for a fantastic family-friendly event packed with fun for all ages! Enjoy lively traditional German music and exciting activities. Kids will love the dedicated corner featuring a slide, balloon artist, ice cream, and more.

Food and Beverages

Both food and beverages will be available for purchase at Oktoberfest, featuring an authentic German menu and craft beer from Sumter Original Brewery — including a seasonal favorite, their Oktoberfest brew.
